Jayendra Tiwari’s Journey from Coding to Curating Adventures

06 May, 2025

"Whether it’s tech or travel, I believe everything begins with curiosity and grows with patience. Talk to people, ask questions, and you’ll always find something worth learning."

Jayendra Tiwari

The Coder Who Dreamed Beyond the Screen

Jayendra Tiwari’s journey began like many others, armed with a degree in IT from Mangalore and a sharp mind ready to code the future. For over two years, he worked as a PHP developer, solving backend problems, delivering digital solutions, and building his foundation in tech. But beneath the screen glare, something else stirred: a longing for more human connection, real-world stories, and purpose beyond the pixels.

The First Entrepreneurial Jump

That calling led him to take his first leap of faith—starting Lab Help, a commission-based service aimed at making medical lab services more accessible. While the business didn’t bloom in the way he envisioned, due in part to a conservative market mindset, it planted the seeds of resilience and real-world learning. "If this was the US, it might have worked," he admits, with no regret—only experience.

A Mind That Doesn’t Rest, A Heart That Always Travels

Even while working full-time in IT for over 7 years, Jayendra couldn’t ignore his love for travel. He’s covered almost every part of India, with the North East holding a special place in his heart. “Travel is my therapy,” he says. “When I feel down or stuck, I just pack my bags and go. That’s how I heal.”

In the wake of the pandemic, Jayendra founded Adventures Adda, a tours and travels business that became more than a venture—it became his voice. Organizing unique travel experiences and helping others explore India became his new way to connect, to give back, and to stay grounded.

The Warmth of Uncubate

Jayendra is more than just a coworker at Uncubate—he’s the friendly face that lights up the space. Whether it’s someone walking in for the first time or a regular passing by, he always initiates conversations, checks in on people, and shares a smile. He’s the community's quiet glue—the kind of person who makes everyone feel seen and heard.

Always Curious, Forever Humble

What sets Jayendra apart is his hunger to understand people. He listens, learns, and absorbs stories like a sponge. While he belongs to the millennial generation, he often praises Gen Z for their sharpness and creativity. “They’re smart, no doubt,” he says with a grin. “But I just hope they remember to be patient. Not everything is 30 seconds reel”

Lessons from the Road

Jayendra’s story is not about big wins or overnight success—it’s about consistency, humility, and the power of trying again. From failed startups to fulfilling journeys, from late-night coding to early morning hikes, he’s someone who doesn’t let any phase define him. He evolves. He adapts. He listens. And most importantly—he never stops hustling.
